Two Ways to Live is a tool for telling people the gospel. It is also run as a course, so that people can thoroughly understand the gospel and know how to share it effectively with someone. We're running the course at UnitedInc (first time ever in term 2, 2010). If you're interested in learning how to share the gospel effectively (and just nailing down the details yourself), come and be equipped. You can check out the content of the Two Ways to Live course online at the Matthias Media website: http://www.matthiasmedia.com.au/2wtl/2wtlonline.html

Debate: Does Satan Exist?
Written by Nick W.
Wednesday, 18 November 2009 20:57
This debate is from nightline and features:
Annie Lobert
Pastor Mark Driscoll
Deepak Chopra
Bishop Carlton Pearson
This debate pits two utterly different views of the nature of all truth and reality against each other. Great sword sharpening, this will challenge the most fundamental parts of how you see the world. This is a great example of Christian converts regularly say of their past world view, "I once was blind, but now I see".
The Thursday Thing is back on in term 3 2009! We're now meeting at 4PM thursdays in the Austin College JCR. Come, hang out, have fun, hear about Jesus.
Our series for Term 3 2009 is called Religion Saves (+ 7 other misconceptions). It's based around a series from Mars Hill Church in Seattle USA. We have had to cut a couple of topics, and our versions of the talk are edited to be shorter (the originals are all over an hour long!). We did this so we'd have more time to actually hang out and chat about the stuff at the Thursday sessions. However, we encourage you all to have a look at the extended versions of the talks if you're interested. You can find them below.
The topics we'll be covering include the following:
