 The entirety of John Bunyan's classic allegory The Pilgrim's Progress is available for reading online here. Spurgeon is said to have read this book over 100 times and is quoted as saying "this man is a living Bible!", referring to the way that Bunyan's writing seems to naturally quote texts of scripture as though they were the original parts of his prose. |
